"A Day In the Life" Monologue Assignment - Drama Presentation

Students will learn how to create a character and maintain a role through this "A Day In the Life" Monologue assignment!

They will write a minute-long script, where they take on the role/character of someone or something and discuss a day in their lives. Then, they will memorize and present their monologue in front of an audience, paying careful attention to incorporate the 5 Elements of Drama.

This product includes a handout which outlines all of the details and expectations for the assignment, as well as a rubric for efficient grading. This Drama task is a student favourite in my class and allows students to develop their creativity and presentation skills!
