Action de grâce & Automne -French Thanksgiving Fall Vocab, Word Wall & Loto/Bingo

Begin your Thanksgiving and/or Autumn unit in French with this vocabulary activity, Word Wall, and Loto / Bingo activity!

This resource consists of 20 vocabulary words related to l'Action de grâce (Thanksgiving) and l'automne (the fall season), where students will practice their dictionary skills by not only finding the English translation, but also discovering if the word is masculine or feminine. An answer key is included.

The Mur de mots (Word Wall) includes all of the vocabulary words that are in the vocabulary activity, along with an image beside each word. This can be displayed in your French classroom on a bulletin board during the spring season as a visual reference for students throughout your unit. Just print, cut, laminate, and enjoy!

This Loto de l'Action de grâce et l'automne Bingo game is an excellent way for your students to develop their French vocabulary!

Students are given a BINGO/GRÂCE player template card (it is your choice as the teacher which title of the playing card that you want to distribute), as well as a paper with the 20 French Thanksgiving/Autumn vocabulary items. They are to cut out all of the images and glue them to the playing card in any order they would like. Once cut out and glued, you can laminate the sheets so that you can reuse them every year!

Included are also Teacher Calling Cards, which are larger versions of the 20 French Thanksgiving/Autumn vocabulary items for you to cut out and randomly select for students to match on their own Bingo sheet and put a chip marker on top. The first students to get a straight line either vertically or horizontally (your choice) wins the game.
