Chansons de Noël - Christmas French Songs - Listening Activities - RELIGIOUS

Celebrate Christmas in your French classroom with these 6 fill-in-the-blank song activities, while also practicing and assessing French listening comprehension skills! Included in this product are 6 activities to the following catchy and religious French Christmas songs:

• La Marche des Rois mages
• Il est né, le divin Enfant
• Douce Nuit, Sainte Nuit
• L'Enfant au tambour
• Minuit, Chrétiens
• Les Anges dans nos campagnes

Students will listen to the song and use the word box to fill in the missing lyrics. I like to play the song 3 times, pausing the music after every blank to give students time to find the missing word. Each song has 15 fill-in-the-blanks, all related to Christmas vocabulary. The songs are arranged in level of difficulty from easy to hard, which is perfect for teachers who teach French to many different grades! Included are two versions of each activity (one with a link to the song on YouTube for easy access and one without), as well as an answer key for efficient grading!
