This note includes detailed information about the 5 elements: Role/Character, Relationship, Time and Place, Tension, & Focus and Emphasis. Included is also a template for your students to use to copy the note. Students can keep this note in their duo-tang for reference when analyzing drama performances and pieces.

A Series of Unfortunate Events - Elements of Dance Analysis: After learning about the 5 Elements of Drama (Role/Character, Relationship, Time and Place, Tension, & Focus and Emphasis), this resource can be used for students to demonstrate their learning and their ability to analyze all of the Elements in a specific dramatic piece. In small groups, students will choose any video clip from A Series of Unfortunate Events available on YouTube. They will then work together to analyze all of the Elements of their chosen scene, using specific examples.
