Histoire de la danse - French History of Dance Research Projet

If you teach Dance in French, this History of Dance French Research Project will be great for your Junior/Intermediate students!

This Histoire de la danse - Projet de recherche will provide students an opportunity to learn how social, political, and economic factors influenced the emergence and development of specific genres of dance.

In groups, students will choose one genre of dance to research, such as the Charleston, Hip-Hop, or Disco. They will then create and present a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation, answering a series of questions about their chosen dance genre. They will also teach the class some popular dance moves belonging to their assigned genre.
