Les éléments de l'art dramatique - French Elements of Drama Note and Template: Begin your Drama course with this French Elements of Drama note! This note includes detailed information about the 5 elements:

Personnage (Role/Character), Relation (Relationship), Temps et lieu (Time and Place), Tension (Tension), & Focus et accentuation (Focus and Emphasis). Included is also a template for your students to use to copy the note. Students can keep this note in their duo-tang for reference when analyzing drama performances and pieces.

 

Analyse des éléments de l'art dramatique - French Elements of Drama Analysis: If you teach Drama in French, this resource can be used for students to demonstrate their learning and their ability to analyze all of the 5 Elements of Drama (Personnage, Relation, Temps et lieu, Tension, Focus et accentuation) in a specific dramatic piece. In small groups, students will choose any French video clip from Désastreuses aventures des orphelins Baudelaire (in English, A Series of Unfortunate Events) available on YouTube. They will then work together to analyze all of the Elements of their chosen scene, using specific examples.
