Les mots interrogatifs - French Question Words Symbols Posters

These Question Word Posters in French can be displayed in your classroom to support student understanding of les mots interrogatifs during classroom discussions, interactions, and reading comprehension in French!

Included are the following 10 question words, with a symbol to represent the meaning of each word, along with an explanation of each symbol to help you teach les mots interrogatifs to your students:

Students learn to associate the symbol with the meaning of the question word, which ultimately improves their understanding and learning in French. After I explicitly explain each of the symbols to my students, I consistently see my students referring to them during listening and reading comprehension activities as an anchor chart.

For my own classroom, I individually cut them out, laminated them, and added an adhesive magnetic dot to the back of each one to be displayed on the board.
