Magic Objects - Improv Game - Drama Improvisation Activity

Magic Objects is a fun Drama Improvisation game that encourages students to actively participate in Drama class, while also developing their creativity and improv skills!

This resource consists of 50 ordinary objects displayed on presentation slides. Students must use their imagination to improvise a new special use or purpose for these objects. If a student repeats an idea, or cannot think of a magical use/purpose for the ordinary object within 10 seconds, they are eliminated from the game. Once a student is eliminated, move on to a new object on the next slide. The last student left in the game is the winner of Magic Objects!

You can also play this game as a quick minds-on or warm-up activity by displaying only one object at the beginning of every Drama class, rather than playing until there is a winner.
