Celebrate the New Year in your French classroom with this brillante Mot de l'année bulletin board display!

Included is the following:

- 2 worksheets with a black and white star template for students to write their own Word of the Year and decorate their own star

- 1 worksheet with a black and white star template for students to choose their own Word of the Year, decorate their own star, and write about why they chose their specific word

- Clipart drawings (all digitally drawn by me!)

This is the perfect decor for January and the new year!

Having your students write their mot de l'année on the star creates a meaningful and motivating display, allowing your students to set intentions and goals for themselves! Students can take the time to reflect upon the previous year and make resolutions for improvement.

You can either print out the clipart in colour and have your students write their words of the year on each star or you can print out the worksheets to have students decorate their own star and write a reflection piece about it.

This resource is in French and is a non-editable PDF. After printing in colour and cutting out the display, I recommend laminating the items so that you can reuse the resource year after year! If you want the bulletin board letters to be a smaller size, you can reduce the document size in your printer settings.
