  • These job application posters make for an adorable bulletin board display in your French classroom for the month of December!

- Lettre au Père Noël : Résumé letter to Santa - reading comprehension activity

  • Students are to read a letter about a child applying to be an elf and work at Santa's workshop. Then, they are to answer questions in French with regards to information provided in the letter.

- Holiday Writing Paper

  • 3 designs students can choose from to write their own job application letters to Santa on why they would be the best candidate for the elf position.

In my own classroom, I complete the activities with my junior/intermediate students in the order that they are placed in. These activities are a great way to get into the holiday spirit, while also teaching students about grammar, letter writing, persuasive writing, and reading comprehension in French!
