Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations - OCSGE - Dance Assignment

This Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations (OCSGE) Dance Interpretation Assignment is an engaging and meaningful cross-curricular task for your Religion and Dance programs! In groups, students will be assigned one of the following OCSGEs:

• a Discerning Believer
• an Effective Communicator
• a Reflective, Creative, and Holistic Thinker
• a Self-Directed, Responsible, Lifelong Learner
• a Collaborative Contributor
• a Caring Family Member
• a Responsible Citizen

They will choose an appropriate song and create a dance piece that represents their assigned OCSGE. After presenting their dance performance, they will then write a reflection piece where they analyze how their dance reflects their assigned OCSGE, as well as their own strengths and areas for growth in dance.
