Remembrance Day / Veterans Day / Memorial Day - Dance Assignment

Teach students to communicate feelings and ideas through dance with this Remembrance Day Dance Assignment!

Students will work in groups to create a dance to one of the assigned songs for Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, or Memorial Day. They can present their performance in front of the class or during a school assembly. Upon completion of the performance, they will write a reflection piece where they analyze the different elements of dance, as well as their own strengths and areas for growth.

This resource includes 3 versions, with variations in titles and images (Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, & Memorial Day) in order to be accessible to both Canadian and American teachers and classrooms.
