Save 15% off my French resources for a Feelings and Emotions Unit when you buy this bundle! This purchase includes FOUR resources that are available individually in my store:

Sentiments et Émotions - Feelings - French Vocabulary Activity + Word Wall: This vocabulary activity is perfect for the start of a Feelings and Emotions Unit in French! It consists of 21 vocabulary words and adjectives related to les sentiments et les émotions, where students will practice their dictionary skills by not only finding the English translation, but also discovering how to change the masculine adjective into feminine. An answer key is included.

The Mur de mots (Word Wall) includes all of the vocabulary words (adjectives are written in both masculine and feminine) that are in the vocabulary activity, along with an image beside each word. This can be displayed in your French classroom as a visual reference for students throughout your Feelings and Emotions unit. Just print, cut, laminate, and enjoy!

Sentiments et Émotions - Feelings and Emotions - French Reading Comprehension Test: This reading comprehension test is an excellent summative assessment to finish your unit of « Les sentiments et les émotions » ! There are three sections in this test to assess student knowledge of feelings and emotions vocabulary: labelling, fill in the blanks, and changing the adjectives from masculine to feminine. This resource also includes an answer key to help you with grading efficiently.

Comment te sens-tu aujourd'hui ? - French and Emotions Chart / Poster: Use this resource at the beginning of every French class to teach students how to identify their feelings, build peer relationships, and increase a sense of community in your classroom! This poster includes 24 feelings and corresponding emojis, as well as the « Je me sens » and « J'ai » sentence starters. Print and laminate this poster, then display it in your classroom for students to use as an anchor chart and reference to help them express themselves. Making this exercise part of your daily classroom routine provides an opportunity to improve oral communication and vocabulary in French, while also teaching the importance of social-emotional skills.

Comment ça va ? - French Song / Chanson - Fill in the Blanks - Listening Activity: This fill-in-the-blank listening activity to the song « Comment ça va? » by Juli Powers is a great way to practice and assess French listening comprehension skills! Students will listen to the song and use the word box to fill in the missing lyrics. I like to play the song 3 times, pausing the music after every blank to give students time to find the missing word. There are 15 fill-in-the-blanks related to Les sentiments et les émotions (feelings and emotions) vocabulary. Included are two versions of the activity (one with a link to the song on YouTube for easy access and one without), as well as an answer key for efficient grading!
