This resource consists of 20 vocabulary words related to « les vêtements », where students will practice their dictionary skills by not only finding the English translation, but also discovering if the word is masculine or feminine. There are five sections in this reading comprehension test to assess student knowledge of clothing vocabulary and French currency: labelling, fill in the blanks, add the total cost of clothing items, write the price (in euros), and true or false. This product also includes an answer key to help you with grading efficiently. You can use this test to help you with the backward design planning process.

Vêtements - French Clothing - Interactive Google Slides™ Activities: These « Vêtements » interactive Google Slides™ include six different activities to build your students' vocabulary related to clothing and accessories in French!

In the first section, students are to drag and drop the correct vocabulary word for each of the 34 clothing and accessory items. In the second section, students are to write out the vocabulary word themselves to match each clothing and accessory item. In the third section, students are to drag and drop the appropriate clothing items for each of the four seasons, then write a sentence to list the items they have chosen. In the fourth section, students are to match the correct weather statement with the weather symbol. In the fifth section, students are to complete a chart listing the correct clothing items for each season, based on the weather. They are to then create a complete sentence using the three sections of the chart to help them. In the sixth and final section, students are to analyze the outfit of the character and write a list of what they are wearing.

Without considering the answer key, there are a total of 86 Slides for your students to interact with! This is a fun way of learning clothing in French and building vocabulary. It can be used for distance or in-person learning. The text boxes are already provided on each slide for your students to type directly on. Each Slide comes with instructions in order to clearly outline the expectations of each task for you and your students.

Vêtements - French Songs / Chansons - Fill in the Blanks Listening Activities: These fill-in-the-blank listening activities to French songs about les vêtements (clothing) are a great way to practice and assess French listening comprehension skills, while also building vocabulary!

Students will listen to the song and use the word box to fill in the missing lyrics. I like to play the song 3 times, pausing the music after every blank to give students time to find the missing word. There are 15 fill-in-the-blanks related to Les vêtements (clothing) vocabulary in each song. The songs are arranged in level of difficulty from easy to hard, which is perfect for teachers who teach French to many different grades!
